In the case of this temple is not the first artistic contribution to the interior.Besides the existence of the original temple, which is the true temple, the chapel and main sanctuary, which is decorated with wall frescoes and the Lord's Supper Presvätá Mother of God (Orantas), left side of the sanctuary offers an interesting area for further religious treatment. Already in the initial intention resonated desire mosaic of two bishops Blessed Archeparchy of Prešov - bl. Peter and Paul Gojdič bl. Vasil Hopko, both martyrs.
The approved proposal, they both found themselves martyrs alongside the dominant landscape of the puzzle - the baptism of Jesus Christ. Close a high wall is almost destined to carry out this scene in the classic concept of iconography. The edges of walls are the banks of the River Jordan. On the left side at the top stands pp. John the Baptist with a stretched arm, which interferes with the gold-red stream based on the full mount. Although real baptized in the Jordan River St.John the Baptist with water (a visible sign), yet in fact one who baptizes is invisible, and he baptized his divine power (red) and God's grace (gold). Alone pp. John the Baptist said: "I am not worthy ..."
Both banks of the Jordan River connects to the bottom of which descended Jesus Christ that was baptized as a complete act. The grace of baptism, and from God's power flowing to merge the head of Christ but will not stop here, has continued. God in this area is extremely generous.This is demonstrated by two martyrs, bishops, bl. Peter and Paul Gojdič bl. Vasil Hopko. Their characters are off on a blue jet stemming precisely in the Jordan River. Prison environment, most probably just revealed God's power and authority, as one can when merging with Christ. Under the figures of the two martyrs are placed large pieces of travertine as an indication of a small altar, where they are housed relics of the martyr to public respect through touch or pobozkanie.
Such an opportunity and a chance to integrate into the Jordan River to everyone. River Jordan spends Christ and continues, through the floor and brings us to the baptismal font. It is made from one piece of travertine and weighs 1.3 tons. It is here, everyone has the opportunity to delve a bit into the Jordan River and have therefore complicit in the same divine power and grace of God.
The whole composition of the mosaic is moving toward a shrine associated with it to create a whole.Over žertveníka space is shining Star of Bethlehem, and goes into the structure of integrating the sanctuary.
